She's soo cute! ... i'm trying out a photoblogging feature using Hello/Picasa ... I think I'm gonna still make my own gallery, cause hundreds of pictures don't belong on my blog. But, I may stick pretty ones up here, like this one =)

Homepage progress

Ok, I officially hate Windows Internet Explorer. I just finished a new layout, and since IE doesn't "easily" support PNG Transparency, I was in for some crappy times. Microsoft thinks it's acceptable to make you use a DirectX filter, and then find a way to get other browsers to render it correctly, rather than follow the standards and make developers happy. IE makes you do this: background-image: url(images/layout/jimmy_navigation.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; _background-image: none; _filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='images/layout/jimmy_navigation.png', sizingMethod='scale'); instead of just the first 2 lines. And on top of that, depending on the size of your image, links placed over them may not be clickable! That's a pretty ugly bug, and I haven't been able to figure out a fix for it yet (other than using a 1px width image). Anyway, other than this web dev madness, I'm working on various programming/computer projects ... and cleaning my house. Hopefully I'll get out of the house sometime today.

Whoa

So, it's 1:26AM and I'm ripping Sex in the City episodes =P. Yes, it is fun. Another week done, and a weekend coming that will entail lots of song writing! Yeah, I know, I never thought I'd hear those words too. I'm planning on recording a bunch of new stuff, plus clean up some older songs. I'll post a link to my music when I fix my homepage. Other than my songs, I intend to do a mininal amount of work and try to rest as much as possible. It's been a busy week, and an amazing day today, so what better to follow but a restful 2 days? ... but I most likely will code ... lots ... well, at least fix my webstuff. Time to get these episodes ripping and get to bed.

Blogger

For the time being, I'm transfering my blogging power over to Blogger. I know, I know, but I don't have time to work on my publishing website, and I need a way to publish =P. I'm currently working on my homepage and a script to put all my posts from iweblog.net into this blog. The trick is fitting that in with a full time job, a startup business, and a personal life. Woopdy freaken doo. I've moved my homepage to http://www.iweblog.net/~jimmy/BROKEN, just so I could have a nice way to access my blog. Eventually each section of my site will be subdomained, so accessing my blog will be at jimmy.iweblog.net/blog, and my pictures will be at jimmy.iweblog.net/pictures, etc. Or, I might just get another domain (like, something to do with my name), and post there. Then it would be blog.somedomain.com, or pictures.somedomain.com ... I like that better =P Anyway, this is my blog now.
